    Class Lightning

Object for storing data on the lightning exposure

Lightning is a visible electrical discharge or spark of electricity in the atmosphere between clouds, the air, and/or the ground often produced by a thunderstorm.

Using inherited data from the NatCatGeneral object as well as also including the Radius object for stating how many lightning ground strikes have occured whithin a given radius, the number of lightning strikes within 10 miles in the previous year and the estimated percent chance of lightning strikes at or near a location in 1 year. Also includes data on the exposure to convection storms (thunderstorms) as well as the number of events.
